I installed the trial version of the Rad Module, added a new linked table but the system set all the field types to text regardless of the original type and won't let change it.
Two questions
- Am I supposed to do all the required conversions or is there a way to change this.
- If I modifiy the information on DNM_TableFields for type and subtype will it work? Or better not to full around with it.

Thanks in advance

Hi Oscar,

Regarding linked table the fact that they are all text does not mean that there is something wrong. In the case of linked tables, tablefield are created just to point at the actual field. However the type is irrelevant. However if you want to modify the type, you can modify directly in the tb_DNM_TableFields.

That will only help you if you decide to use the Auto-Generate function in Forms, other than that to have the correct Data Type is sort of irrelevant when you are working the Linked Tables.

Hope this answer your question

Very helpful, thanks a lot. By the way I already upgraded to the pro version. Best rad I ever tried. (and I tried a lot out there)
May be you could consider allowing modifiication, if not of the type which probably isn't easy in linked tables, at least
of the entries from Caption to Order.
Thanks again
