Hello, I need to send the value of the "Data Text Field" to navigate another DNM module.
Using the Key "Default Value" of the DNM Navigator Filter I pre-set the value of a DNMADDNEW form.
As aparameter I use {ColumnName} - Is it possible to use somethink like "{ColumnName}.Text" - just a "guessample" ;-)

Hi Olvier,

So you have a dropdown and when you click a button you want send the text value of the dropdown to another form as default value?

Correct or I'm way off base?

Hello, it is a DNM LABEL LIST - but yes, I would like to send the "Text" not the "value"

I have two DNM modules:
- list of issues (sending "data text value" + change form ADDNEW)
- list of response activities (receiving "data text value" + change form ADDNEW)

The DNMLABELLIST "bind data source" comes from a custom query.
Basically I use the PK to get a field from a custom query.
I have actually two DNMLABELLISTS
visible: pk >>> Label
hidden: pk >>> "other pk"

In this case it is no good to send the pk (Data Value Field) to the other form.
The "other PK" is the "data text field" and I would like to set this as the default value of one item on the ADDNEW form.

Is there a way to set the default value of the other form based on the "data text field"?

Yes, instead of using Navigate use search.

Search willl take data from the controls instead of columns, so instead of taking the pk (that is stored in the table). It will use the control data, which in the case of the label list is the text.
