Hello,
at first: congratulations for this expert work.
For me, DNM RAD seems to be the "DNN Module Creator", I have
searched for. It looks easy to create modules, as well as
complete applications. I am thinking about to purchase the "pro" version.

I read in the license agreement and hope I understood everything.
Because my English is not the best (specially the business/license English)
I have some questions before purchasing:

A)
Am I allowed to distribute (sell) the modules/applications I have built with DNM RAD
to my customers or perhaps on snowcovered?
If I understand the licence right, I am allowed to do so
(Royalty free distribution...)

B)
When I packed my module/application into a ZIP File for selling, what are the
requirements on my customers portal to install the ZIP file in his DNN Portal?
Is it just a PA (private assembly) like other modules to install on DNN portal,
or has my customer(s) have to install a "DNM Runtime" or something else before
installing my module/application. Or is there something like a "DNM Runtime" in
the ZIP File included that installs itself before installing the module/application?

C)
Is there a point in your roadmap, to offer DNM RAD in other languages?

Thanks for your answer.
kind regards
Henner

WE ARE planning to shortly to issue a DNM Runtime. Our initial plan was to issue it with version 1.2 (approx end Mar 2010) but we are considering to issue it even before.

(A) YES, you can distribute with the Pro - at the moment since there is no 'Runitme' there is a limitation on selling it on snowcovered.

(B) You need DNM on the client's machine. Since at the moment there is no DNM Runtime you have to install DNM (full) on machines in which you are sure that there will not be development on.

(C) Not actually. I have a roadmap till end 2010 and it's full of new features!

Hi DNM Team,
just a question, if there are any news about the "runtime-environment"
for DNM.

The "run-time environment" posed new issues. Some of which are:

1 - the developer who created the app may not want a buyer to change it or see how it was built (source)

2 - the buyer might install a run-time version, say, 1.14, but then install another app which needs 1.20

3 - how to upgrade an app

So, basically we are planning on these issues and then the run-time system would be a fully implemented DEVELOPER edition (so to say).

Hi,

what about that Run Time Environment?

It would be very nice to have one even an primitive one that supports the current version of the application.
