After two years of working on the DotNetMushroom Rapid Application Developer (DNM RAD) module for DotNetNuke, we have finalized the release version. The official launch date is the 19th October and the venue will be at the DotNetNuke Openforce '09 (Europe) which is going to be held between the 19th and 20th October at the Papendal Conference Centre, in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
There will be abundant information about the DNM RAD in this site over the coming weeks. Just to suffice is to say that the DNM RAD will change the way modules are currently perceived in DotNetNuke. With the DNM RAD you will no longer need a module to do a contact form, another module to have a 2 level catalogue ..etc. No more hassles with upgrading of modules and compatibility issues. You will just need the DNM RAD and with it you can build your own applications, rapidly and fully customized to your client's needs. This essentially means that you will be able to offer a wider range of services to your clients and possibly take up new web based jobs that you previously used to refuse for the simple reason that there are no modules that cater for it.
With its intuitive interface, integrated help, tutorial videos and downloadable ready made applications, some of which are free, the DNM RAD will enable users with lesser programming knowledge to build their own applications. It is one of the reasons why we have developed its logic based on some of the most popular database applications that people commonly use.
The DNM RAD has been built entirely by us at DotNetMushroom - the web development division of Holistic, a Microsoft Certified Partner whose core business is software development.
Well, that's more or less it for now. Hope to see you at our stand at the OpenForce ! In the meantime, should you have any initial interest in the RAD, please feel free to contact us.
